Christmas 2022
Each of our students received a Christmas meal thanks to generous donations from our EKG sponsors. The kids sent a cute Merry Christmas video along with this picture of them with their Christmas meals.

Newsletter May 2022
Hello to all of our generous Sponsors and Supporters:
We want to bring everyone up to date on everything that is happening with EKG and our kids in Ghana.
Board Changes
We have had some changes to our board. Janet has stepped back from her position as Vice President of EKG in order to focus more on her family and enjoy retirement with her husband. She still speaks to our President, Emmanuel, in Ghana frequently and is still very invested in our continued efforts to educate children in Ghana. Holly, who has been to Ghana 3 times with Janet, has accepted the role of Vice President of EKG. We know many of you choose to support EKG because of Janet’s passion for educating kids in Ghana. We are grateful for all your support over the years. Our hope is that you will continue to support educating kids in Ghana.
Our Kids
Ghana was affected by Covid, just as we all have. The biggest change for the kids was that the government made some adjustments to the school year. The school year now consists of 3 terms which run January to April, May to August, and September to December. Tuition increased in most schools, however donations paid by our sponsors is enough to cover the rest of this school year. We are happy to report we have sponsored 118 kids this past school year. 12 of these children will be furthering their education and moving onto high school.

Face Masks For Sale
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended EKG fundraisers this year--except the selling of our EKG face masks (as noted in our Newsletter) to help prevent the spread of the virus. And perhaps spread the word about EKG as well.
These masks are double fabric as the CDC suggests. We have black and some blue. The EKG logo is on the left side of the mask as to not inhibit air flow. They are $10 each or 3 for $25. We have adult and youth sizes. (See picture below).
